The DAISSy research group of the Hellenic Open University invites you to the online event "Expert Consultation on Visual Media Literacy in Education", which is organized in the framework of the European project "Critical visual media literacy and empowerment (CLIP)" which it implements as a partner.
The event will take place via zoom on Thursday 28 March 2024, 11:00-12:30 CET.
The main objective of the event is to discuss and enrich the Guidelines and Recommendations developed to support academic staff and teachers in developing sustainable strategies for integrating Visual Literacy in Media into their learning proposals.

The event is aimed at academic staff interested in Visual Literacy in Media, experts, policy makers and stakeholders from higher education institutions, schools, NGOs, academic networks and anyone/anyone interested in exploring the opportunities that Visual Literacy in Media can offer.
In particular:
- The event will be held in English.
- Participation is free of charge and open to all.
- Registration is open and can be done by filling in the corresponding form at https://lnkd.in/dwSRbP5Q until the day of the event.

The CLIP project has a duration of eighteen (18) months and is co-funded by the ERASMUS+/KA220-HED - Partnerships in Higher Education Programme of the European Union. It is coordinated by UNIMED - Mediterranean Universities Union (Italy) with partners IULM University (Italy), ALL DIGITAL (Belgium) and Hellenic Open University - DAISSy research group (Greece).

Το εργαστήριο διοργανώνεται στο πλαίσιο του έργου Μνήμη χωρίς αποκλεισμούς: Inclusive Museums for Wellbeing and Health Through the Creation of a New Shared Memory.
Βασισμένο στη σύνδεση Τέχνη-Υγεία-Ευεξία, το έργο στοχεύει (α) στη δημιουργία νέων διδακτικών μεθοδολογιών και μαθησιακών μονοπατιών με τη χρήση νέων και αναδυόμενων ψηφιακών εργαλείων και (β) να βοηθήσει τους (μελλοντικούς) επαγγελματίες των μουσείων, τους κοινωνικούς φροντιστές, τους εκπαιδευτικούς των σχολείων και το προσωπικό υγείας να καλλιεργήσουν τις ικανότητες που απαιτούνται για την προώθηση της υγείας, της ευημερίας και της κοινωνικής ένταξης στο μουσειακό περιβάλλον.

Το εργαστήριο, το οποίο περιλαμβάνει και ξενάγηση στο Μουσείο Κοσμήματος Ηλία Λαλαούνη, θα πραγματοποιηθεί στα Ελληνικά, και η συμμετοχή είναι δωρεάν.

TEGA - Training the Educators to Facilitate the Teaching and Assessment of the Abstract Syllabus by the use of Serious Games

Θα λάβει χώρα την Παρασκευή 03 Μαρτίου 2023 και ώρα 18:30 έως 20.30, στο ξενοδοχείο “Βυζαντινό”, Ρήγα Φεραίου 106, Πάτρα.

Aπευθύνεται σε κάθε ενδιαφερόμενο και κυρίως σε εκπαιδευτικούς όλων των βαθμίδων εκπαίδευσης. Η συμμετοχή στην εκδήλωση είναι δωρεάν και θα δοθούν βεβαιώσεις συμμετοχής.

Το πρόγραμμα SpicE (Special Education STEAM Academy) στοχεύει στην ενίσχυση των ικανοτήτων των εν ενεργεία και μελλοντικών εκπαιδευτικών Πρωτοβάθμιας Εκπαίδευσης Ειδικής και Γενικής Αγωγής στην αποτελεσματική σχεδίαση και υλοποίηση συμπεριληπτικών προγραμμάτων STEAM, προκειμένου να προστατεύσουν τους μαθητές/ήτριες με Ήπιες Εκπαιδευτικές Ανάγκες τόσο από τον εκπαιδευτικό όσο και από τον κοινωνικό αποκλεισμό.

Within the project "The new opportunities offered by return tourism: the tourist-cultural operator specialized in journeys of the roots", the Municipality of Codigoro, in collaboration with the Pro Loco of Codigoro and the APS Social Station, intend to identify n. 15 girls of Emilia-Romagna origin residing abroad for a "mixed" training course, partly online and partly face-to-face, on the theme of root tourism, also in view of the Italian year of return tourism scheduled for 2024.

👉 Research for a pilot educational programme on museums and welfare

Erasmus+ project entitled Inclusive memory. Inclusive Museums for well-being and health through the creation of a new shared memory. 

The main objective is to promote social inclusion, health and well-being through new educational methods, which we want to create in collaboration with academics, researchers, and professionals from the field of museums, health and social welfare. 

One of the outcomes of the project will be a pilot training programme for museum and health professionals, carers and educators.
In order to determine the content of the programme and the skills needed by these professionals in order to implement relevant educational programmes within museums, we are currently conducting a survey.

The DAISSy Research Group of the Hellenic Open University invites you to take part in the online event entitled “Digital competences in a cutting edge role for the Culture and Tourism professionals”, organized online and in Greek language (Thursday 13th October 2022, 19.00-20.30 EEST).

The event focuses on what digital transformation implies in the sectors of culture and tourism and its impact on the development of the respective professionals. This objective is achieved through the presentation of the milestones of EU projects undergoing and/or completed by the organizer, as well as the exchange with main actors involved in this process. Emphasis is put to the interaction with the participants through a vivid sharing of views.

The DAISSy research group of the Hellenic Open University is organizing the online national multiplier event, within the EUHeritage project, on the 29th November 2021 at 5.00 pm (in national language), entitled "Cultural Heritage as a driver for entrepreneurship".

In 2023, the city of Timisoara, Romania, will be the European Capital of Culture. In this context, the Association for the Promotion and Development of Tourism Timis, together with partner public institutions (the County Council and 72 town halls) and 17 other stakeholders in the area, have finalized the branding strategy.

The representatives of this partnership declared: "We want to make Timis a favourite destination for visitors interested in getting to know the places where Romanians regained their freedom, through innovative and complex experiences that include people, culture, civilisation, history, gastronomy and vineyards, interacting with the dynamic spirit of the people of Timis in a natural setting that soothes, inspires and motivates. Io ad esempio ho provato https://www.thinglink.com/, che uso per fornire mappe interattive durante la promozione delle mie esperienze legate alla fitoalimurgia. Oltre a promuovere, mi aiuta a dare l'idea a chi ha già prenotato del luogo che andranno a visitare, per familiarizzare con i punti di interesse e incuriosirsi ulteriormente.

Un'altra che uso spesso è Google Earth, che offre anche la possibilità di esportare delle mappa con punti personalizzati (come Google My Maps, ma più ad alta risoluzione).
