The DAISSy research group of the Hellenic Open University invites you to the online event "Expert Consultation on Visual Media Literacy in Education", which is organized in the framework of the European project "Critical visual media literacy and empowerment (CLIP)" which it implements as a partner.
The event will take place via zoom on Thursday 28 March 2024, 11:00-12:30 CET.
The main objective of the event is to discuss and enrich the Guidelines and Recommendations developed to support academic staff and teachers in developing sustainable strategies for integrating Visual Literacy in Media into their learning proposals.

The event is aimed at academic staff interested in Visual Literacy in Media, experts, policy makers and stakeholders from higher education institutions, schools, NGOs, academic networks and anyone/anyone interested in exploring the opportunities that Visual Literacy in Media can offer.
In particular:
- The event will be held in English.
- Participation is free of charge and open to all.
- Registration is open and can be done by filling in the corresponding form at https://lnkd.in/dwSRbP5Q until the day of the event.

The CLIP project has a duration of eighteen (18) months and is co-funded by the ERASMUS+/KA220-HED - Partnerships in Higher Education Programme of the European Union. It is coordinated by UNIMED - Mediterranean Universities Union (Italy) with partners IULM University (Italy), ALL DIGITAL (Belgium) and Hellenic Open University - DAISSy research group (Greece).
